Our Cartoons for YOU
Cartoonists Rights Network

 by Robert Russell

Paul "Popoli", Cameroon:

Paul Nyemb Ntoogue "Popoli". This Cameronian cartoonist recently returned home from a self imposed exile after death threats against himself and his young sister. He seems to be doing well, and Cartoonists Relief Network wishes him well. One of the cartoons that got him into trouble was the cartoon below. In the panel on the left, the Head of State, while commenting on the thankless total war on corruption, spots a diplomat arriving with a gift package. In the panel on the right, the IMF fellow says that they will audit the gas accounts next time. The Head of State replys, OK, OK, I know you're kidding.
