TRIBUTES
to cartoonist, BILL MAULDIN
by all the top cartoonists.
Bill Mauldin passed away this week. He was the beloved voice
of American GI's in World War II. His characters, Willie and
Joe, shared the trevails of our soldiers in Europe. Bill won
a Pulitzer Prize for his wartime cartoons in Stars and Stripes,
then won another Pulitzer in 1959 for his political cartoons,
including his most famous cartoon of the Lincoln Memorial weeping.
